Sandra Balanciere, DNP, APRN, FNP-C has been a Nurse Practitioner for 25 years with the last 24 years working in the Emergency Department at the former St. Paul Hospital in Dallas and more recently UT Southwestern Clements University Hospital.  She is a highly qualified board-certified Nurse Practitioner driven to build strong relationships with patients and their families and acts as a patient advocate to achieve the best possible outcomes. Over the course of her 25-year career, she has developed a set of exemplary skills needed for excellent patient care and has consistently demonstrated critical thinking, leadership, and communication abilities in every aspect of the role of Nurse Practitioner.

Sandra is from Lake Providence, Louisiana and received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Grambling State University; her Masters in Nursing as a Clinical Nurse Specialist from Texas Woman’s University; post-Masters from UT Arlington as a Family Nurse Practitioner and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice from Grand Canyon University. She is certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.  She is currently a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, the Texas Nurse Practitioners, and the North Texas Nurse Practitioners.  

Sandra currently resides in Sachse, Texas and has 3 children, daughter Chelsee (24) who is married and lives in Houston, and sons M.J. (23), and Christian (19).  She is a member of Amity Bible Church in Richardson, Texas.  Her hobbies include working out, traveling, involvement in her Sorority, Delta Sigma Theta, Inc., reading, and listening to music, especially her favorite artist, Prince.
